The importance of a good mare cannot be stressed enough! Our broodmares have all been carefully chosen from small breeders in Germany and the Netherlands. They have been picked to provide a wide range of desirable bloodlines from the best Hannovarian, KWPN and Holsteinerverband have to offer. Before we brought them into the country they were all inseminated in Germany with stallions that are not yet available for frozen import into the South African market. We were lucky to get a filly from each mare and are excited to keep breeding with some of them. Our aim is to add to the fantastic quality of horses already being produced locally

Reduce your stress during the mares pregnancy and let her foal down with us. We take care of all necessary vaccinations, vet checkups and night watches as we head closer to foaling date. Our foaling stables are equipped with CCTV so we can keep a vigilant eye on the mare once she gets close to foaling down. We have two vets living on the property should there be any complications. The stables are a minimum of 4,5X5m with thick straw bedding to ensure the utmost comfort for mare and foal. All stables are equipped with fans. Options of full livery or the option of living out in a herd with our own broodmares.
About the farm
We offer our stallions at stud. We collect ourselves and chilled semen can be couriered anywhere in SA. We work closely together with Coastal veterinary services in also providing collections for outside stallions as well as embryo transfers and inseminations. Contact us directly for more information.
About the farm
We offer a handful of stables for outside livery clients. Only full board options available. We have large (16m2) airy stables all with rubber mats, daily minimum 8hour turnout time in grass paddocks. Teff, erograstis, shavings are offered ad lib – during winter, horses get extra hay in paddocks or lunch if requested. 4kg of selected Capstone or Equifeeds feed ranges included daily. Lunging weekly included. Feeding times 06:00; 16:00, 20:30. Extra services include free jumping, long lining, schooling, grooms for shows.
